We Want DC Free! Voices from the "We Are All DC" March
"In the long run, the only way to resolve all of these issues — whether it's ICE, whether it's the Trump administration's oppression of Washington, D.C., or whether it's the Palestinian issue — is to have a united front. This is an example of a united front."
The "We Are all DC" march on Saturday, September 6th, was one of the largest protests (if not the largest) held in the nation's capital since the second Trump administration took office. Thousands of local residents, out-of-state supporters, union members,
and others took to the streets of Washington, D.C., demanding that President Trump end the military-federal occupation of the city. But the march also brought together concerned citizens from all walks of life to protest the Trump administration's attacks on immigrants,
US support for Israel's genocide in Gaza, and more. TRNN's live coverage, Rattling the Bars host Mansa Musa spoke with many organizers and participants of Saturday's march.
